A responsive management team with decades of experience
J.B. Brown & Sons’ strengths lie in the experienced ensemble of professionals operating the company. Vin Veroneau, President and CEO, leads a team of esteemed employees with a vast background in commercial real estate. John Laplante, Vice President of Finance, has been with the company for over 30 years and is familiar with all financial aspects of the company. Trish Weimer, Vice President of Operations, ably oversees capital improvements, tenant improvements and is responsible for running our property management functions. Willow Williams, Property Manager, has been with us for over 30 years and manages our commercial properties. Michelle Crowley, Office Manager, is responsible for tenant communications and managing our parking lots.
Vincent P. Veroneau – President and CEO
Vin joined J.B. Brown as President in January 2005. He has been involved in commercial real estate development, asset management, and marketing since 1987. Prior to his association with the Company, he was a partner at North Atlantic Commercial Brokers in Portland, Maine, and a commercial leasing manager with Northland Development Corporation. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of San Francisco, an M.B.A from the University of Southern Maine, and a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law. In addition, he has taken several real estate courses in the Community Planning & Development graduate program at the Muskie School of Public Policy. He currently serves as a Trustee of Waynflete School, chairperson of the Finance Committee at Our Lady of Hope Parish in Portland, and a Director of Bangor Savings Bank.
Patricia Weimer – Vice President of Operations
Trish, joined J.B. Brown as Vice President of Operations in December 2005. She provides an organizational component to the management of J.B. Brown & Sons properties and oversees capital and tenant improvements. Ms Weimer has worked in the property and asset management field since 1985 and holds the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from BOMA. Trish has managed the property and leasing operations for many new and rehab properties in New England and the Mid-West including: office buildings, retail centers, parking facilities and mixed-use complexes. She has worked directly for landlords as well as for institutional owners as a third party manager. She has been an instructor of RPA courses for BOMA and written articles for real estate industry magazines. Ms Weimer received her B.A. degree from Vermont College.
John LaPlante – Vice President Finance
John joined J.B. Brown & Sons in 1976, after serving as a senior accountant with Peat, Marwick & Mitchell. He is a State of Maine Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.A. degree in Economics from St. Anselm College. John is primarily responsible for the financial operations of the company.
He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, former member of the St. Joseph’s Parish Finance Committee and currently serves on the St. Brigid School Finance Committee.
Willow Williams – RPA, Property Manager
Willow joined J.B. Brown in 1978, and has held several positions with in the company. She is currently working as a property manager, maintaining residential and commercial properties. She holds both the Real Property Administrator (RPA) from BOMI Institute in Chicago, and a State of Maine real estate license.
Michelle Crowley DiDonato- Office Manager, Parking Lot Coordinator
A graduate of Husson College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing, Michelle brings years of professional experience to J.B. Brown since she joined our ranks in 1998. Often the first voice you speak to, she is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, running the parking lot portion of the operation as well as serving as office manager.
